Winning Eleven 2009 | PES 2009 Trick
Everyone loves to win all the time, and in PES, this is no exceptionI am sure you would feel frustrated when things do not go your way.1. It seems like your opponents have magnetic ball control, there is no way to rob their ball.2. They can score from all kinds of angle and direction.3. They always win the high ball.4. They have such tight, congested defence that it is impenetrable.5. They somehow are able to close down so fast, you can't even hold the ball for 3 seconds! When faced with such situations repeatedly, don't you just feel like smashing your PSP?We all face such problems initially too.
After getting sick of inconsistent results, I decided to do some research on the game. And I would like to share with you some in-depth information that i had come to realise.Let us explore on the dribbling aspect of the game in this article. Gamers love to dribble as it gives you the adrenaline rush and satisfaction when you beat defenders. I would like to share with you some pointers on dribbling. There are two types of dribblers in PES 2009.The first are those with high SPEED and AGILITY. These are the flair players who are blessed with tricks and have pace to burn. They are able to turn quickly and leave defenders in their wake. On the hindsight, they would be out-muscled easily by strong defenders and lose the ball.
The second type are players with high stats in ATTACK and BODY BALANCE. Such players are able to bulldoze their way through defenders, and they are hard get tackled when shielding the ball. However, they are not able to turn fast and quick defenders would be able to rob them of the ball. Thus, I believe pairing both types of players together would being variety and confuse the opposition.Sprinting would get you pass players, yet it could cause you to lose control of the ball. It is important to vary your dribbling approach to bring about an element of surprise in your game. Here are some tricks and movelists for PES 2009 to dazzle your opponents.1. Matthews Feint - When player stationary, press LEFT (of dribbler) lightly, then RIGHT2. Drag Back - When player stationary, BACK twice3. V- feint - Drag back, then immediately DIAGONAL FORWARD4.
Side Drag - When player stationary, press LEFT or RIGHT once. The player will continue this move till another command is given.5. Flick up/Chip - When running, press BACK then FORWARD quickly. I find it easier to execute when holding down SPRINT button.6. 360/ Marseille Roulette - When running, make a circle on the D-Pad. (UP LEFT DOWN RIGHT) Tricks aside, making sudden turns would commit your opponent into a sliding tackle, resulting in a clear path on goal.My favourite - moving diagonally towards the defender's right, then changing to his left at the precise moment, and sprint pass him. Another method is to turn 90degrees to the side, and turn back towards goal again when you beat him. The fake shot technique in PES is also recommended to trick your way past defenders.A recommendation - When you are close to goal and a defender is closing you down, use the fake shot and move to the direction of your stronger foot, allowing you to pull off a good shot quickly.Vary your approach and enjoy leaving defenders dumbfounded!
In the previous article, I covered the dribbling aspect of PES 09. Now, Let's touch on the crossing area of PES 09.Having worked your way up the flanks of your opponent's half, it is of utmost importance to deliver a good cross, or your opponent would launch a quick counter-attack to make you pay.If you find it hard to score from crosses in PES 09, perhaps these advice could help.Firstly, I would set the crossing control to option 5. With this option, I can control the power of my cross by holding (circle).
When required, I can also choose to use the assisted cross (L + circle). I would prefer the manual cross for accuracy, but the assisted one is useful when you have a defender breathing down your neck. You can use (R x 2) while holding (circle) to whip in a high-arc crosses. At times, change flanks by crossing the ball to the other side when one flank becomes too crowded. Here are some points to note when crossing in PES 09.The position of your player would affect your cross. When your player is near the edge of box, you will have a bigger area to aim for, as compared to when you are at the goal-line.For more accuracy, remember to turn in to face the penalty area when you start to cross. Using the radar, aim for players at the near post, far post, or outside the box, adjusting your power and direction.
When crossing near the goal-line, attempt a low cross ( Hold L + [circle x 3] ). The goalkeeper might push it out for a corner, push it to your onrushing striker, or even fumble it over his goal-line!The 4th method might be a little cheap in PES 09 so you should not use it too often if you are uncomfortable. When rushing towards the corner flag with a chasing defender, you could choose to turn back and cross with your other leg. This would evade the defender. At times, your sideback might be just behind the winger. Passing the ball back for the side back to cross into the box first time could open up the angle. With these tips on hand, make your crosses count in PES 09!
Well the time of year has again approached where the two rival football games go head to head in the Christmas war. Who will come out the most successful? Who knows, only time can tell. But let's have a look at both games and rate each one.Fifa 2009First we take a look at Fifa 2009, the game which is highly anticipated every year looks to have improved itself on the game play side of things. From the start Fifa have this time wanted to get the game completely right, they begun the creation of Fifa by gathering criticisms from gamers and critics and it has sure paid off.The game is much more improved then as of previous years, including ball physics and the collision system. You can also switch the camera view to any specification that you would like. But it does not end there, Fifa have made some amazing additions to the game such as the Be a Pro Seasons mode, the Adidas Live Season, and the 10-on-10 football. This all sets Fifa up to potentially dominate the football games industry once again.Pro Evolution Soccer 2009Well pro evolution soccer look to have put its gear stick on full throttle, and have realised they needed to bring back the game that won so many peoples hearts on the PS2.
The game play is very much similar to that of its golden days, but it looks as though PES have not really considered the graphics side of things very well. But the positive site of things is that the game play is very natural in itself and not to mention that they have the UEFA champion's league licence, they also have Manchester Utd's and Liverpool's licenses, but besides from that the rest of the players have obscure names.ConclusionWell in my eyes there can only be one winner, Fifa's new revamped look and game play over the last few years has set them up to dominate the gaming industry. There graphics completely trumps over those on PES, and with Fifa owning a lot of the unique licences, PES still has a long way to go. The once dominating football game for the PS2 has been outwit and outrun by the all so mighty Fifa. This being said though, the overall game play of PES does still grow on you after a while, but as technology progresses that just is not enough and more needs to be done.Compared to all other football games these two knock the socks off the rest.
If you are both a video gamer and football fan, you must have heard of the 2 biggest football game franchises, the Fifa series and the Winning Eleven series. While the 2010 versions of both games should be available in the next couple of months, you might want to read about their current versions to decide which is the more suitable game for you.Fifa 09The Fifa series by EA Sports has always been strong in graphics and Fifa 09 doesn't disappoint. A big advantage of the Fifa series is that it has fully licensed teams, which means all teams are properly named as in real life and have accurate jerseys along with sponsor logos. This increases the gaming atmosphere by a great deal and it's a big draw for casual gamers. The online play for Fifa 09 is smooth and a joy to play with. The shortfalls in the Fifa series is that the gameplay is sometimes predictable and tactics do not matter as much as in the Winning Eleven series. The overall action is also slower and players not as responsive.
Winning Eleven 2009The Winning Eleven series by Konami attracts a more hardcore fan base than the other football games. The lack of licensing means that team names and jerseys are not accurately depicted. For example, Liverpool FC might be known as Merseyside Red. This is a huge turn off for casual players though there are fan made patches available on the internet that can correct this problem. Online play is sometimes laggy and unplayable. But the strength of the Winning Eleven series is it's excellent and responsive game play. The flow of play is faster, more arcade like and also a lot less predictable than the Fifa series. So which is the football game for you? If gameplay is of utmost importance, you might want to take a look at Winning Eleven, sometimes known as Pro Evolution Soccer, depending on where you are. If you cannot live without good graphics, presentation and online play, then check out the Fifa series.
